Electronics Project Box
A portable enclosure containing modular electronics boards for in-progress projects.
Whiteboard
Description
A (wooden? acrylic?) enclosure containing strips of plastic tileboard edging/joining on the floor, into which can be slid boards holding project elements. The enclosure should be such that when the cover is removed, only the floor and back board remain. The top and other three walls should come off to provide ease of working.
Modules
- Breadboard
- Arduino
- Resistor decade box?
- LEDs
- Switches
- Voltmeter/ammeter?
- Potentiometers
Other Features
- Power and USB jacks on the back
- Power circuitry built in to provide regulated 3.3V, 5V, 9V, 12V (others?)
- Horizontal pins on the front and back edges of boards to provide a power bus (with extra pins for custom use?)
- Built-in banana cables for ease of use with multimeter?
- Storage containers/organizers (static safe?) built into lid
- Other terminals/connectors on the back?
- Screw
- Spring
- Banana
- Ground terminal/rail for attaching anti-static
- Floor can consist of a few pieces of 1/4-3/8" dowel on which the tileboard edge/joint are mounted, in order to provide a space underneath the boards for mounting hardware and wiring
